To say that I was blessed this summer would be an understatement. I can feel the love and the blessings from these past few months in an overwhelming way as I look back at pictures. It is a bittersweet thing to be able and look at memories frozen in time. Bitter because I would do anything to be back in these moments, sweet because of the friendships, love, and joy.
I choose to look at these pictures with a thankful heart. Thankful for each moment spent with family and friends. Thankful for the happiness that comes with thinking back to where I spent my summer. But mostly, thankful that I have been given the chance to create NEW memories. Memories that will come through the adventure I am about to embark on and the new people that will begin to drift into my life.
So as I look forward to the new memories not yet captured, I also look back on the old ones and cherish each and every one.
